When you think of food delivery in the MENA region, we’d be pretty surprised if talabat didn’t pop into your mind first! Since delivering our first order in Kuwait in 2004, we’ve grown quite a lot over the past 17 years.

Today, we deliver hundreds of millions of food orders, grocery items and other products per year, to our customers in nine countries throughout the region with more than 3,000+ employees! Our food delivery business works with over 27,000 brands and almost 50,000 branches, while our q-commerce concept, talabat mart, now delivers groceries to customers in Bahrain, Egypt, Jordan, Kuwait, Oman Qatar, and the UAE in 30 minutes or less!

What’s on your plate?

  • Define and drive campaigns to enable local teams to execute on campaigns efficiently.
  • Work with marketing and commercial teams to highlight strategic objectives for campaigns.
  • Support country teams to establish an annual campaign and trade planning process and calendar, with standardised approach to measurement, evaluation and KPIs.
  • Collaborate with Marketing to ensure plans align and trade-driving campaigns are amplified across owned and paid channels.
  • Collaborate with commercial teams to align on promotional activities.
  • Work with the partnerships and media solutions teams to build campaigns attractive to FMCG partners.
  • Monitor performance on a regular basis, reviewing end-to-end customer journey, analysing and reporting against business KPIs
  • Enable local teams to make proactive optimisation decisions, and deliver insights or recommendations to drive revenue
  • Collaborate to continually improve messaging, creative and user experience
  • Spot, curate and share best practices or efficiencies for global scale
  • Influence product development for global tools to support our teams to drive more effective campaigns and promotions.

What did we order?

  • You have 3-5 years experience ideally in a leading e-commerce retailer or grocery retailer in a marketing, commercial, or similar role.
  • Marketing, E-Commerce, and/or Retail experience is a must.
  • You have a strong customer centric mindset, are passionate about retail, and have a proven track record of delivering end-to-end marketing campaigns that drive commercial growth
  • Extensive experience in data and analytics tools (Tableau, Looker, Google Analytics), confident looking at data to evaluate performance over a range of KPIs and reporting back to stakeholders
  • Hands-on entrepreneurial mentality, you take ownership and are self-starting
  • You have a proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
